Jedi Order Recruiting

Post by Shaggy »

Hello everyone, for those seeking to become Jedi we have two Active threads available.

We have the Skywalker for beginners and anyone who is wanting to get into the Jedi aspects of Rp'ing.

Then we have Ossus temple, this is where the main storyline of most Jedi stories converge. It's a middle ground and many different arc's can happen here.

We had the The Onderon Temple but it has since been recently destroyed. Efforts to rebuild it are currently underway.

Basically when it comes to a Jedi character, we understand that people want to automatically give them powers and such but we also have those who might want to bring in a padawan or even someone who has had no training what-so-ever. Which ever one you would like to bring in please feel free to post their bio here.

Race, gender, height, weight, ect... and then some background on said character.

We would love to have you Rp with us, so come and join up!

Your recruiting eh...well...can I throw in? It won't be a massive input. Believe me it won't be. I love throwing wrenches into things though.

Cazzik and his new apprentice have very little to do now. It would be great to have something. In face, who is even on the Jedi Council anymore? :D

Don't forget even though most of the Jedi hate, despise or know nothing of him Freedom is considered a...what is the word...well he's considered a member of the Council just not as a Master. I forget what its called, there is a word for it.

First, I "deleted" the posts that were not relevant to JO recruitment. I did leave Mir's post linking to the current council, as that can be related to recruitment.

Second, move the debate of how the JO should be run out of this thread, and keep this thread focused on recruiting.

My post wasn't exactly about how the Jedi Order should be run...but that's here nor there. I created two more Jedi today to flesh out the Order a bit. We need more of a visual presence on the MBT. Time to start throwing thermal detonators.

My main character, Jedi Knight Weda Scami, is kind-of looking for "work". Are there any good arcs that may need some new blood to join up?

I have 2 Jedi characters that would like to get involved in the current JO timeline, one is already established on the boards for a long time, the other is a newer, younger character that I'd like to try out.

Well most everything I can think of going on for the Jedi we're in the middle of things. But if you have a type of thread in mind I can always whip up something new for you to participate in. And of course we can look into getting you involved in current threads as well as well. I'm sure other people will post offering you spots in ongoing threads and storylines. If you want to talk I'm normally always on Windows Live, address is Halcyon508@hotmail.com. You can add me and we can talk about what you might be interested in or you can always PM me.

I think this thread's opening post should be edited to reflect the current state of the Onderon Temple.

The Skywalker is just a Jedi temple that flies. So anything you might do on Ossus you'll be doing on the Skywalker. Jedi training if you're a padawan or training padawans if you're not. As far as the current story goes if you want to have some sort of strange activity happen in your post just run it by me first. Gotta make sure it's congruent with what I have planned and that it's not too revealing.

well hello there samuelca and welcome to the Exodus!!!

We do have many Jedi out there that might be able to help. Mine is currently taken but I am sure others can lend a hand! Do you have a bio or more of a backstory to your character? Might give us a little bit more to go on :)

You could always jump in on the Skywalker. We're just roaming the galaxy looking for new Jedi, plenty of opportunity for zany adventures and wild mayhem.

Samuel, you might want to read up on our history a little. If your character had been taken into the order at age 3, it would have been around the Battle of Endor; the new Jedi Order didn't really exist at that point yet. A few years later might make more sense, our Order is a lot more tolerant about the 'too young' thing than the Old Republic one.

Feel free to throw around questions if you need more pointers or ideas on how to work the character into the MBT.

Y'know, I'm not sure-- he was training Halcyon's young Jedi character, but the time lapse has been so long, I'm sure she's moved on by now. Being an instructor OR getting into zany adventures would be just fine, either way.

I have a lot more planned then just training Jedi. There's something going on right now but besides that we'll be dealing with pirates, battling Sith, flying around solving people's problems, discovering unexplored planets and all kinds of things. Any padawan just starting out on the Skywalker is going to get a lot of first hand experience.

Also if you are looking to bring back a master or a knight that has been "missing" for a while, the thread I am on, Data Accessing.... Data Not Found Corrupted Filed, we are looking for a large Jedi Cache that Palpatine has taken and had locked away. (Frozen in Carbonite) Basically he was using them for genetic material and experiments for making his clones stronger in the Force and such. Your "older" characters could be in said cache and we could awaken them.

Bio for Jax Aves:
Jax was born on Correlia. His family was relatively middle class and over all average. Jax, at birth was identified at birt as force sensitive. His parents resisted sending him at such a young age. At last at age 3 he was sent to Coruscant to train as a Jedi. He is reckless. He fights for justice but there is no absolute certainty that he will make the right choice. He tries to follow the code as much as he can, yet he is too aggressive. He has talent with a lightsaber, but he is average with the force.
